Daily Plate ("we," "us," or "the site") is a browser-based word game. This policy describes what information is handled when you play.
The game saves your daily progress and streak count in your browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it (via the Share Result button). Clearing your browser data will erase your streak.
We use Plausible Analytics (privacy policy) to count aggregate page views and gameplay events. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track visitors across sites. What we see is anonymous, aggregate counts — not who you are, where you live specifically, or anything about you individually.
We may display advertisements from third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense). Ad providers may set their own cookies and use identifiers to serve relevant ads or measure ad performance. You can learn more about how Google uses data from advertising partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads or optout.aboutads.info.
We do not set any first-party cookies. Cookies you see in the browser's cookie inspector are set by ad providers, if ads are enabled.
Daily Plate is a general-audience word game. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. If a parent believes a child has provided information to the site in a way that violates their expectations, they can contact us at the address below.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
